Exhibition "Particles of Light #Pointillism"

What happened at the exhibition "Particles of Light #Pointillism"?

Two weeks have quietly passed since the opening of my solo exhibition. The exhibition was hosted at the Sofia Gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in the building of the Bulgarian Embassy in London. I presented 59 paintings with diverse themes and subjects. What unifies them all is the style of Pointillism, which I use as a means of expression. Pointillism imparts a unique vibration to the painting; the colours of each dot interact, creating a sense of nuance and vibration. The main idea is that light particles are like small dots that build the colours, nuances, and material. Each particle of light carries its information, and by interacting with each other, they create the magic of the real world. In the style of Pointillism, each dot is like a unique particle of light that interacts with the others. On a broader scale, every person is like a particle of light interacting with others, shaping the larger picture called life.

I appreciate everyone who had the opportunity and took time from their personal lives to attend the opening. The opening brought together people with very different paths, and I am sure that this was the only time and place where these people could meet. Such encounters are magical and mark the beginning of something new. To create a melodic atmosphere, the music of Debussy, one of my inspirations while painting the pictures, gently played in the background.

The exhibition has a charitable nature to support the Dedal School of Arts for children and youth in disadvantaged situations, based in Varna, Bulgaria. Education in the arts is free for the children, and all teachers and organizers work voluntarily. All funds raised by the school are used to support it, purchase materials for the children's education, and organize events. While the amount raised is not significant, I will donate 100% of it for the good cause for the future artists.

The total amount raised from the sale of paintings, prints, and cards is £500. The monetary transfer will be made to the account of the Dedal School:
