2024 CAS (Chelsea Art Society) Summer Exhibition
I had the great honor of being part of a Chelsea Society of Artists exhibition.
Every year they hold a summer exhibition where they present their wonderful works of art. At the same time, they give the opportunity to artists who are not members of the community to participate in the exhibition. Anyone who wishes can apply and will be evaluated by a committee of artists. In order to take part in the exhibition, there are 3 stages of evaluation and screening of the works of art. If he passes those 3 stages, he will have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition. Exceptional world-class quality artwork!
The exhibition also has a competitive character with awards for different types of art such as painting, sculpture, young author and so on.
A welcoming, friendly and very cozy environment was created in the Chelsea Old Town Hall where all the artworks were exhibited.
The jury chose one of my paintings with which I participated. The painting is called "The Conversation" oil paints, canvas 100/70 cm. In my pointillism style I have depicted a favorite place in London with a view of Tower Bridge. In the foreground is a man leaning on a parapet by the River Thames, and a seagull is perched on the parapet itself. They talk to each other and reflect in the atmosphere of the ancient city. What are they talking about? How do they communicate? Each viewer can complete the story of the picture by looking into it and reading the symbolism of the images.
